Dark forest is a green neutral tone made from a blend of three pigments. It exhibits an almost black mass tone, and is a beautiful dark green in washes. Similar to Perylene green, Dark forest is perfect for delineating shadows or creating moody landscapes, ominous horizons and stormy seas.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

Each half-pan is packaged with a corresponding color card with color details for your reference on the back.
